50G Reeftank June 6, 1999 Wide angle shot of newly set up 50-gallon reeftank after the addition of another 16 pounds of rock from Seascapes bringing to total amount of rock in tank to about 45 pounds. I'm counting on both the rock and the 4-inch substrate with 1.5 inch plenum to filter the water. One can see the turbulence created by the Maxi-Jet 900 in the right corner of the tank. Look closely at the Goniopora and note how the turbulence pushes back the polyp. I'm trying to use the Caulerpa as it grows as a "waterbreak" for the Goniopora.
